Is China Subsidizing the Dumping of Solar Panels a Good Idea?

The Chinese government has been subsidizing the dumping of solar panels. Over time it becomes too expensive to subsidize such fast growing industries. A strategy like this is bad for everyone as unsubsidized businesses in other parts of the world can go out of business due to being unable to compete. The state interference in markets through subsidies is another example of the malinvestment problems that have been happening in China over the last 20 years.
