The Biden administration has tended to focus on economic frameworks in the engagement where we've seen over the last year. It's economically not really feasible for the US government to offer additional market access to the US, to these countries. This type of trade deal is just not something right now that a lot of Americans want to hear about and it's partly because they feel like past globalization have left them in the lurch.
