Today is the 12-year anniversary of WikiLeaks, first publicly posting a Bitcoin address. Assange was talking about using Bitcoin as a way to circumnavigate financial censorship that they were dealing with due to sort of these gatekeepers of the financial and payment system. "It's so wild also to look at the history of it, because it's kind of before Bitcoin was really, had even really monetized in any significant way," he says.
