The Pathology of Narcissism

Not everybody with NPD has antisocial personality disorder. People who are self-aware narcissists, so if we're looking at this from a continuum, may not meet criteria for NPD. Sometimes they're known as flexible narcissists,. If they are able to tolerate some accountability and express that their life has become unmanageable or their interpersonal relationships are somewhat maladaptive then we might be looking at someone who has some motivation to make limited sustainable change.
