If trump had won a second term, do you think his own experts would have convinced him to beef up the a i budget? I don't knowo maybe it would have happened at the same time. Maybe maybe the reason the funding got approved under byden is that it was time and that we had learned more about what china was doing. But from a real world perspective, it's hard to say that trump did worse in a i because nobody knows how it's going to go or even if the funding would have made any difference.
