Pedro the first of portugal was crowned in 13 57, becoming the eighth king of portugal. He claimed to have forgiven aneza's death and pardoned those who had murdered her. But he still wanted them brought back to face justice for what they'd done. Pedro is said to have witnessed the executions as his servants brought him his dinner.
