Is There a Prize When You Win at the End?
There's all kinds of reasons that things are not bubbling up or you have to be very brave. Working with Pete Doctor who is a genius, one of the reasons, of the many that he's a genius, is because he just drops down into that stuff. He's so honest about his life and the authenticity that he brings every day to the table was always just stunning. It also helped to go to Pixar and see that even these massive, massive genius storytellers, they fail. And they do screenings that don't work. Because that is the process. And they get vulnerable too. Like nobody gets by without doing it.
