The rise of the culture wars is closely mirrored to the shifting demographics of attention and developmental psychology that is being trained in this distinct media. The shift from a fundamentally centralized structure to a structure where the underlying technical medium gives rise to a possibility of vastly more decentralization is sort of, again, one of the fundamental drivers of the thing that we're calling the culture wars.
