There is also a theory that involves alien activity and UFOs. Around the time of this incident, Soviet forces launched several rockets from a nearby military base. Witnesses claimed to see gloaming and pulsating orbs flying in the direction of the mountain they were on. There was also numerous reports of seeing orange balls of light in the area at that time.
