Introduction

Jim Wilder: I'd never really heard much about joy in Scripture. He says he discovered that a third of the brain develops after a baby is born and it develops in response to joy, with joy being a relational experience we're glad to be together. Wilder also found identity was built by what was called a mutual mind state. The prefrontal cortex which is the part of the brain that contains your identity looks as though there were three faces looking at each other and interacting. Being created in God's image may have its little thumbprint right there in the middle of the brain.
