The Role of the State in Public Education
Even in the 1960s and 70s, even people that wanted the government to do more would actually lead or talk with, is there a role for government here? Now it seems culturally even the default is just, oh, of course, the states there were in the state tricks. And I think that's a bit of a worry, right? Well, again, like public education is a great example. There was a time, especially in England, but when liberals, small ill liberals, opposed public education across the board. It was basically considered to be just obvious that the state should not be in charge of educating people.
