We promised that we'd explain how you actually use this correctly. Don't worry, no one's goig to laugh at you if you congratulate them on their but it can be good to know how we would actually use this. You'd use congratulations when you want to tell someone that you are pleased or happy for them, when they have success, or when they are doing something amazing. When else might we use this?
