Are You Leaving Potential Profitability on the Table?

If you've got, say, six companies competing with each other in a market and none of them have done their pricing home work, they could all be basily charging just nonsense pricing. So at a high level, rite, you haven't considered your customer's willingness to pay. The hidden wolf is that you're leaving potential profitability on the table, which nobody wants to do. Remember that it's illegal to have tacit or explicit collusion with o cartel on pricing. You don't want that.
