The Art of Interpretation of the Law of Moses

God gave us the truth, but how we interpret and apply that truth has always been up to the community of god's people. God very rarely engaged in the art of interpretation. Jesus told his followers he wanted them to engage in this process. I wish we respected the community's decisions more than our own personal opinions. Gosh, dangit, it seems like we might be able to do more for the kingdom.
