Are We Looking at the Math in a Snapshot in Time?
The projections that came out in 20 19 around the physician shortage did not have a global pandemic the next year. The math was outdated within a single year because of forces we couldn't anticipate. We can't predict what's happening two years from now, because we don't know what is going to change. If you break down some of the segments of the physician work, for sure we may see some of these trends,. But we can't take that to mean it's the overarching work force strend.
