Nessiterus Rambopterix
In 1817, Raffet Nask named the Massachusetts Bay Sea Serpent, Magophius Monstroces. In 1892, Udemons changed the name to Magophius Magophius. And in 1958, Hulvomens proposed Mega-Lotaria Londjakalis for the animals cited in the surrounding seas. So there had been exceptions, and since Rinds and Scott had photos, they thought they could scientifically describe the creature well enough to distinguish it from other animals. Nessiterus Rambopterix means Ness monster with diamond fin.
