What Is Hunting and Gathering?
Hunting and gathering could more concisely be summed up as foraging or searching out wild food resources, both plant and animal. Like pastoralists, hunter-gatherers tend to move around seasonally because wild animals also migrate seasonally; different plants are in season at different times of the year. Hunter-gatherer also migrate alongside animals but without the domestication and ownership of them.
