Why Do We Fear Being Ordinary? [Carl Richards]

The Examined Life

CHAPTER

The Ordinariness of Love

I think that there is a cheap way of knowing it. And the cheap way would be things like followers and how many people are rational. I've asked people would you rather have five people or 5,000 people at your funeral? It's almost like I want to award that because I would it would make me feel even better. The ordinariness means you haven't done enough because you're ordinary. You get less you get less love, special, more love ordinary, less love.
