The Labour Party's Choice Is Public Ownership - That's the Way to Keep Wealth
i challenge cameron to freeze energy prices. i think the thing that struck me, listening in the hall as the speech was being delivered, just how much a labour party audience still adores public ownership. We're not nationalizing an existing company because that would cost money to buy up the shares and all that. But it is labor making a clear statement that we've got to learn the lessons of why, for example, in offshore wind, we haven't created the jobs in this country. The jobs have gone elsewhere. And the reason is, is because we haven't had a national champion driving the investment, driving the jobs, driving the wealth.
