Would It Be Possible if the Bill Becomes Law Under Article 10 of the Convention?
It would be possible if this bill becomes law to challenge it in the Strasbourg, European Court of Human Rights. The protection of free expression under Article 10 of the Human Rights Convention is subject to a variety of exceptions for human wellbeing or public policy. I think that they are likely to take the view that this is sort of within the range of politically correct outcomes,. which would be acceptable to most of the European States party to the Convention.
