Jupiter the Small Beetle
Mr. Beadle was sure the night would be a resounding success. He glanced at Gwen and was pleased to see he had a clear view of her and her encouraging smiles. There were eight young bugs present as Mr.Beadle began his story. Half of them believed him to be a hypnotist. Two independently concluded he was a magician. And one was looking forward to an interpretive dance performance. None of them were expecting a story. In a faraway land, there was a small beetle who enjoyed taking walks with his pet flea hespress. This small beetle was named Jupiter because he had a big personality and a stormy temper.
