I do think it's primarily about incentives, but I think that that process starts at the selection stage. It's almost like it's a sort of job interview for a completely different position. And once you get into Parliament, we then really bring the sort of bludgeon down to insist that your career prospects are highly dependent on being what you're told by the partnerships. For most MPs, you know, they are picked to be partisans and often their romantic relationships as well as their professional relationships are based around the identity of the party.
