'Mahmud of Gasne'
Mahmud of rasne was a turk by origin from central asia. His father had lived in what is now kagistan, in the remote stepes of central asia but had been employed as a professional soldier. Mahmud wanted to establish himself as a major political figure in afghanistan and the borders of india. And so he needed a number of court intellectuals to to make this a proper palace set up. He conquered carasm and he effectively kidnapped or berone and took him back to his court. Beroni spent the rest of his life effective yas a court intellectual with mamolcasna.
