How Do You Get the 12 % Return?

In the old days at the bank, you really had the feeling that the point of view was, well, all you have to do is get 11 men with good ecues and put em in aom together. And it just doesn't follow. The reason we have so much passive investing to day is because so few people were able to add anything through their efforts. We all have to look in new places to find our edge. If most people are faded to have an inferior outcome, then they shouldn't try. They should turn it over to investment professionals, superior mutual funds, if you can find tem or passive index funds if you can't.
