The History of Drag
I think one of my goals with this book was to chart just how normal and natural queer expression, queer people are in the world history. I tried to prepare myself so I would be up to the task. It felt like a really essential when there's so much misinformation about drag from both sides. And then I literally made a map and a technology because I wanted to make sure I was sampling drag from every continent.
