The Benefits of Hugging

On average people usually hug about six times a day. Research finds that hugging seems to have a lot of benefits. It can reduce stress, and it's linked to better health. But one of the things I find really interesting about hugs as well is that it's not just hugs from other people that can make a difference. For me, this is really important now, right? Because increasingly if you're in a relationship with someone who might be distant or even more remote than you are, they may need your support.
