Is There a Need for Suffering?
Suffering has been a huge, the driving force in my experience with interest in buddhism and meditation. And certainly, what you said there about your frienda, people whos high intellect often struggle with this, is with the simplicity of this technique. Is the point is not to be really conceptializing about it. But ye, that's why most people don't wake up comfortable. I mean, there's nothing bad. You don't have to do this work at all, am and in the ultimate sense, you don't even have a choice. Either you wake up or you don't.
