The Visual Strategies of Jackie Chan
Jackie Chan can exist in the wide shot because he can do it. Most of the time we don't do that as much. So why are we expecting that like a 70 year old man can do it? But Jackie Chan could, but that we don't think about right. That's what makes him so incredible. "White House down and die hard" uses flashing lights to add disaster effect. The movie takes place almost exclusively at sunrise.
