The Impact of Inflation on the Pub Industry
Cost of living and prices have been persistently high for quite a long time. You can see a massive difference in the people's spending from young people that have got mortgages to the older generation. We as a family pub have decided to try and keep our prices as low as possible because I think the British pub is the heart of the nation, really. Any major sporting event does help the pub trade. It does help the hospitality trade. People love coming out to the pub to watch it because they get that atmosphere rather than sitting at home.
