Is the Bank of England in a Bad Position?

I think there's a lot of hints going on from both the institutions and also from conservative MPs that the cause needs to be changed. I mean, it does look to me like Liz Truss is increasingly boxed in. It's looking increasingly like she's got nowhere to turn. The UK has no economic policy at this moment. You're all competing with each other, all fighting with each other. And they have no idea what monetary policy is because the government has no idea what fiscal policy is. They've been essentially the world's biggest sort of market for sort of buyer of of guilt of UK government debt through quantitative easing period.
