The West Wants India on Its Side

In the next 20, 30 years, India is going to surpass China and eventually India will surpass the US as the largest economy. So the west wants India on its side, then they want to give awards and recognition to some aspects of Indian cinema. They know that Indians love foreign recognition, especially western recognition. If an African nation or let's say Indonesia or somebody gives awards to Indian cinema, Indians are not that induced. But if it's the west that does it, then Indians are all the rejoins and dance in the streets. It's a long term investment in that as well.
