The Three-Fold Trauma of the Worsley Man
The Worsley Man's skull was found in 1958, about three decades before the Lindo Man. In both cases, the bodies were initially suspected to be recent murder victims. Researchers like Melanie Giles have been trying to learn more about how and why he died. A study published in the Journal Antiquity found that there are about 2,000 bog bodies across Europe.
