In a new place, especially, there's a lot of uncertainty and risk. If you have people that you already have common values with, it's cheaper to establish trust or rapport with them. Seoul cites somewhere between five and three studies which shows that when you take someone from a disadvantaged socioeconomic strata and put them in higher strata, they do better. And so this sorting is happening constantly around us at all levels. It has nothing to do with type two discrimination, and it causes orders. We're going to talk about unsorting in ways that governments unsort people as well.
