We Are Unique in Times of Darkness, That No One Else Understands

I've been talking to lots of people lately in the past few weeks about their adult children. And I look back now and I think, wow, I can't even believe I made it out of so many things. There are so many more people who are either mentally ill or borderline personality or self-absorbed. But a lot of that comes because our culture is falling apart when little human beings aren't loved and touched and held and treated in a gentle way.
