The Importance of Power Transfer
In so many different cultures and religions around the world, the transfer of power is not simply a technocratic thing, but it is a very spiritual thing. And even Queen Elizabeth, one of the most famous people in the world, understood herself to be a contingent mortal holding that for a time and having to hold it loosely. It's an invitation to all of us, whatever our faith is to reflect upon what will you use this power for and who is it do and how can it be taken away as well. That sort of the contingency of it all.
