The Origins of Patent Medicine

Drop sea is a less technical term for something called edema okay and edema is when a lot of watery fluid collects in the cavities of the body you so water section. The first letters patent is given to the sky who evinces secret remedy in the late 17th century, essentially what this says is hey we the royal family of england we mess with this guy we think he's legit and only he can make his secret recipe. We'll have to look into the etymology of how it became called drop sea but before we do that i love the term patent medicine  and i didn't know much about it uh patent medicine it turns out had been around in england
