People exposed to high levels of stress for a long periods of time, that cortusal response in the morning seems to be diminished. People who experience chronic levels of stress actually don't get their proper cup of coffee. So it's not about having no cordosol - it's about having cordisol released at the right amount and at the right time. If you're constantly experiencing stressful event, your body is flut the signal all the time. It's like, stress, stress,stress.
