Is There a Little Bit of Inflation?

The European Union EU inflation came in hotter than expected. Consumer prices rose 8.5% year over year versus the estimated 8.3%. German two-year yields surged on the news. So yeah, just the Eurozone, I don't know. It continues to sort of defy gravity, but it kind of looks like a mess. A little bit of inflation is a good thing. The question is whether or not inflation expectations get unanchored.
