Ruben's Response to Simeon

The brothers begin to put Joseph's plan into action, but Simeon stays behind in jail. "I think there's a lot of complex emotions that come out here in tears," says author Sam Wurzelbacher. Ruben is mentioned twice in this chapter and 'he is the loser of the family,' he adds. And yet they're the ones who are underfoot this time rather than Joseph.
