Hiring is very hard, right? When interviewing someone for a potential role, you've got the hiring manager. Some one else on the interview panel has to champion the hire. It's been my experience that 75 plus % of messed up hires that we have made in our experience has come when we felt rushed and had to settle. And then if they work, that's where the gold is.
