Is Solidarity a Good Idea?
The apparent spontaneity of protests is preceded by and subtended by an organization. We can find ourselves being organized, even if that is not what we would individually decide to do. I think that this happens a lot, that we get coopted into conflict that we don't know we are necessarily a part of. The prob with moralizing conceptions of solidarity is we need an answer to that question.
