The Importance of Coherence in Government
The book is in three parts. You start with government or Sarkar, and then you move on to markets or Daza. The one thread through the book is that the government is sort of overwhelming markets and society. And if it sort of receipts from markets and society in a meaningful way, then markets would sort of do the job that they do quite well. We have good empirical evidence on this society can do its job quite well, given, you know, better institutions and better state capacity.
