The Queensland Government's Strategy for the Commonwealth Games
Queensland keeps popping up as a possible saviour for the Commonwealth Games. The Gold Coast Mayor is currently away in London on leave and we received a very well placed tip-off that it could become a permanent home. Major changes are coming to our university sector, including dropping the 50% rule which cuts student funding if they failed more than half of their subjects. They're also looking at First Nations students getting more Commonwealth support and targeting debt write-offs.
