Introduction

Last week we talked about an ongoing debate at base camp about the applause feature, which allows you to click a button and clap for what someone else has posted in base camp. We turned it off for our own account to see what that would be like. So today we have jason fried talking about something that we're calling whispers for now. And it's our alternative to applause that we're going to test internally and then see if we want to roll out to replace applaus.
