I'm Hungry, but You Just Keep Driving

When christians expect institutions to perfectly replicate their definition of what god is, god's values, in god's character, you're falling into the equivalent mistake that institution's an image. It's always going to point imperfectly but it's not the thing itself. Let's not actually think that the sign that we see before us should be the reality itself. And if you don't sense a gap, you need to check yourself. If you're feeling like you fit like a glove in the culture and you're a christian, you really need to wonder about that.
