I wouldn't be surprised if that were the case But I would also guess that the bulk of funds that alameda lost were more based on a lot of their venture investments and probably lending activities. The advantage of something like dy dx is first of all that is transparent, so at least you can see what all the parameters are on these contracts. And then also that anybody can kind of step in and help to govern a lot of these parameters on the protocol.
