Love uses evolutionary desires as the basic ingredients. I think it's deeply attached to those natural capacities and desires, but it itself is something else. Nick: The pure capabilities approach is surely wrong because that says we're presenting ourselves as inevitably going to be persons according to what we're capable of doing. Justin: If you effectively go into commission a garden, a species, which is where we are, who we are, you need to be clear that they can be capable of gardening.
