Sexually transmitted infections have been spread in the privacy of the bed room. When you are sexually abused, there's something about who you are is deeply violated. One mistake we can make is say sex is everything. It some of the critiques of purity culture were like if you're sexually faithful, then you are a good disciple of jesus.
