The Extraction of Knowledge in the East
In 1870 Marsh is ready to go back West. Using his personal funds he employs three famous old Civil War generals, Sherman, Sheridan and Ord to provide his expedition with military protection. Cop, meanwhile, is still based out in Hadenfield, from where he launches a number of expeditions across the East. The relationship between the two men has not yet openly fractured but their increase in competition is causing significant strains. They were already starting to use their both of their financial resources to try to out compete their rivals.
