I think the opportunity that we're moving into right now is for more niche audience. What's amazing on the internet is you can find content about almost anything. But i do not think you need millions of bers to grow. I think you need a passionate community to build a business. Do you think there's enough space for everyone in the creator economy? You don't need to speak the language to see the reaction on that person's face when they receive it. And most importantly, they can take a lot of shots. It's like slow t v. Like, this is slow media what i do, right?
This week on How I Built This Lab, we're throwing it back to our very first Lab episode.
In this episode, Guy sits down with Colin Rosenblum and Samir Chaudry, or better known as YouTubers Colin and Samir—a pair of creators who create content for other creators. (We know, pretty meta.) The creator economy barely existed a decade ago, but has quickly become a multi-billion dollar industry with a massive global reach. Colin and Samir discuss their 10-year business journey, and share insights on how to break into this rapidly-growing industry.
